The Redwood Area Education Foundation honored four new inductees to the Redwood Area Schools’ Hall of Fame this past Friday. The Hall of Fame is a recognition program designed to honor individuals who have made a significant impact on the Redwood Area Schools, surrounding communities and/or throughout the world.
From L to R: Charles “Chuck” Lussenhop (Community & RFHS Class of 1961), Barb Sellevold (Staff/Faculty), Linda Zick (Staff/Faculty) & John Greenslit, representing William “Billy” Greenslit (Alumni – Morton, Class of 1957) posthumously. Each inductee was presented with a plaque in recognition for their service, commitment, support and leadership of education and our community.
After the ceremony, guests and honorees were treated to a delightful reception which included hors d’oeuvres and refreshments sponsored by Taher Foods. Many of the hors d’oeuvres were prepared by the students of Kailee Heltemes’ Foods class, under the direction of Chef Brian Renz and Abby Grove.
Congratulations to this year’s inductees! All visitors of the Redwood Area School District are encouraged to stop by the granite Hall of Fame wall, located near the District Office, to view formal biographies of all inductees throughout the history of the program.
